Canyon Inn was a great service for me for my summer internship. Policies were clear, good location near downtown LA, and lots of conveniences (roommate policies, furnishing, some amenities) provided.
Great location in downtown Los Alamos with excellent guests and a friendly landlord. I stayed here for around 6 months in 2017-2018 during my time working with the national lab nearby. Upon moving in everything was clean and in working order. If small things did ever break - the washer broke one time - they were fixed right away. Lots of area in the guest rooms and common areas. Solid kitchen. The landlord is super friendly and gets to know her guests. She's knowledgeable about the area and recommended a few good hikes in the area. If I'm ever in town again, I will definitely stay here!
I was a tenant for a little over two years, and had a wonderful time. The rooms are cozy and come with private bathrooms, and everything is clean and well-maintained. The kitchen is quite spacious and nicely equipped--everything you could ever need is easily accessible! The rates are also very reasonable and affordable. Jacqueline was incredibly kind, accommodating, attentive, and quick to respond if there were any issues. Highly recommend the Canyon Inn to anyone searching for housing!

If you ever need a place to stay in Los Alamos, this is a second home outside of home! Jacqueline’s place is clean, conveniently located, and perfect for students looking for a short-term/summer stay. The bedroom was fully furnished, had a private bathroom, and there was also a washer/dryer in the house. The shared kitchen was well-stocked with appliances and cookware, and the common areas were very comfortable as well. Highly recommend this place!
I stayed at Canyon Inn for about 7 months in 2015-2016. The place was extremely comfortable, and I loved the fact that I could just move in with my clothes and pretty much all else was provided. The other guests were very courteous and friendly. I soon found myself becoming good friends with other guests and the landlord. We had some joint cooking/barbeque sessions, house parties, thanksgiving dinner, and other fun stuff.. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for short/long term accommodation in the Los Alamos area. The owner is fantastic and will make sure that your stay is comfortable.
I stayed for 6 months with Jacqueline and it has just been a great stay! The house was very clean and well furnished, all utilities included, right in downtown Los Alamos. The other housemates were all nice and we had really nice interactions also with the tenants of the other house next door. Jacqueline is really great and very responsive! I can just recommend staying there for short or long term!
I had an absolutely amazing experience staying here. I rented a room and private bath for one year, which was perfect. Great location, very central and close to downtown and work. Shared spaces were kept very clean and tidy, no issues with sharing the kitchen with other tenants. The other tenants were also an absolute pleasure to live with; so many memories were made! We often had game nights or cooked for each other. I would definitely recommend this place to stay, either for long or short term visits!
